Midwest Parenting Publications has asked me to guest blog for their newest print magazine: Dayton Parent. For those of you who read my recent post, “And Baby Makes… Two?” you know I’m on a path to parenthood via artificial insemination. This new guest blog will chronicle my single-mom-making-a-baby experience(s). Yes, we’ve called this new blog by the same name as my first baby post: “And Baby Makes Two” or ABMT as I like to call it.
All Operation baby Nae-Nae news will be posted on Dayton Parent Magazine’s website rather than on Candy Coated Reality since the editor has requested all new/unique content be posted on their site. So far, I’ve posted two entries: a duplicate of my first baby post here: “And Baby Makes Two” and a new post called, “A Mother Without a Child” – I’d love for you to follow along my “scientific-baby-making” journey!

After 29 years as one of the nation’s oldest localized parenting magazine groups, Dayton Parent Magazine will launch in September 2013. It is a part of Midwest Parenting Publications. Their goal is to publish a full color monthly magazine with the mission of connecting parents and strengthening families.
Midwest Parenting Publications was founded in 1984. After an already successful launch of parenting publications in Indianapolis (Indiana) and Cincinnati (Ohio), Dayton (Ohio) was a natural expansion. They have set out to create a publication in Dayton that will encourage education, provide support to parents, introduce new businesses and information, create a bond within families.
